make you unique, 5 flaws and 5 perfections, most of us would end up with half a list and
most of the qualities on our list would focus on our flaws...
So often we focus on what is wrong with us,
comparing ourselves to others. Putting
value on what someone else has, focusing on their strengths while only seeing
our flaws...
Focusing on the things that make us great, seems to be more
difficult. We are afraid of vanity, afraid to brag or boast. We worry about
what others will think or say. So we lose
focus, finding it difficult to reveal the qualities and talents that make us
great, make us stand out in a crowd, our uniqueness remains hidden... We stop looking at our own perfections and
begin this never ending road to improve some aspect of ourselves...
In the eyes of
the Lord, we were created to be exactly who we are with all of our perfect
imperfections. Take notice, toot your own horn and let your greatness shine
through. God created no one else like you, and there is a reason... You are exactly who you are meant to be... Let your greatness shine...
